Tilapia!

Monday's recipe comes, once again, from Tasty Kitchen.  I made Lemon-Garlic Tilapia.  It was really easy.

First you thaw the tilapia.  If you're not like me you'll not decide at the last minute what to do for dinner so you'll already have your tilapia thawing.  Otherwise nuke it and turn it over a few times like I did.

Then you'll melt your butter, and add your garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and parsley.

You'll spoon it over the tilapia and make sure its evenly coating the fish.

You'll place the tilapia in the oven (375*F) for 6-8 minutes, then turn the broiler on for 2-3 minutes.  The fish is done when it flakes well.

4 whole Fresh Tilapia Fillets
1 clove Garlic, Pressed Or Finely Minced
3 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
½ whole Lemon, Juiced
2 Tablespoons Fresh (dried) Parsley, Chopped (Dried works well, I used it!)
½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
Black Pepper To Taste
reheat oven to 375ºF. Use a nonstick baking sheet or line with foil.
Pat the tilapia dry with paper towels. Place fillets in the baking sheet and set aside.
Quickly press the garlic into a small bowl, and then add the melted butter, lemon juice, the minced fresh parsley and then the salt and pepper. Whisk until combined and then drizzle the garlic butter evenly on top of the tilapia fillets, and then brush to cover the entire tilapia fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven until the fish is starting to turn opaque, about 6–8 minutes. Then turn on the broiler on high and broil for 2–3 more minutes or until the fish is opaque and flakes when pulled apart with a fork. Serve hot
