slow cooker chicken soup

So today i got up at noon, and put the ingredients in the crock pot :D i love this kind of food :D

got the recipe from here and then did stuff online, found out a friend had their baby so we went up to the hospital to see them; i got to hold the baby :D

  • 1 can Chicken Broth (14 Oz)
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes With Green Chilies (14.5oz)
  • 1 cup Brown Rice
  • 2 cups Frozen Corn
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 pound Chicken Breast, Uncooked
Add all ingredients into slow cooker, placing the chicken on top. This will cook on low for 4 hours, then at that point remove the chicken, let it cool, and shred it. The chicken will be so tender it will simply fall apart making shredding very easy. Place shredded chicken back into the crock pot and continue cooking for 2 more hours.

its good, but bland. so we added italian seasoning, garlic salt, and table salt, and that perked it up :D
