Mom inticed us older girls to come home for dinner - she posted on facebook about making french toast (YUMMMM) and that was it...my sisters and i showed up by 5:30 and we all helped put supper together for all 8 of us (7 family, 1 exchange student). Tomorrow is sunday and we'll have 9-10 of us around the table - my boyfriend TJ and possibly one of the american girls from haiti :)
Mom's making some yummy food (over night, in the crock pot...it smells good right now). I'll post the recipe TOMORROW, cuz its tomorrows recipe.
Tonight, I'm giving you moms recipe for french toast :) We had to quadruple it, for it to be able to fee all of us :)
2 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
3/4 c milk
1/2 t vanilla
Beat together. Preheat griddle, oil or pam the griddle. Dip slices of bread into the egg mixture and fry til brown. sprinkle with cinnamon.
makes quite a bit, not sure how many tho. yum....:)
