So I had to make pi(e) at some point today....
I had a massage earlier today, but last night, i figured out I would be making chicken pot pi(e) for dinner tonight. YUM!
I used The Pioneer Woman's recipe, and poked out a pi shape into the pi(e) crust for the vents.

mine is broken. Has been for about a year – sometimes I don't care

I found this recipe on TastyKitchen. It was wonderful. I couldn't stop snitching it before dinner, so I should have probably made two of them. Next time!
Melt 1/2 cup butter in the microwave.
Put bacon, cheese, parsley, and chives into the bowl with butter.

So the other day I had red wine and chicken that needed to be used up. So I cooked the chicken in a pan on the stove and made a sauce. It was yummy :)
Cook approx 2 cloves garlic in 1-2 tbsp oil (I just pour it in, I don't measure).
Add your chicken.
Cook the chicken.

Put the chuck roast in the crock pot. I had to cut mine up a bit to make it fit.

I was making dinner for my family one night at their house. Mom had 2 bags of tilapia in the freezer, so I grabbed them and stuck them out to thaw.

I made dinner one night in Kalamazoo for my friend D. D is allergic to gluten, tomatoes, seafood and chocolate. So making dinner required being creative. I bought gluten-free pizza crusts and made my chicken alfredo pizza and some garlic bread I found on tasty kitchen.
First I made mine and TJ's dough.
Add 5 teaspoons of yeast to warm water.
Add flour to the water/wannabehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03478918877427859625noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4864746842245846914.post-33941593019472110632011-09-11T02:07:00.002-04:002011-09-11T02:15:51.718-04:00Chocolate chip cookies
So I needed cookies to take to a party and I decided I'd make Giant Chocolate Chip cookies, based on Jessica at How Sweet's Giant Rainbow Cookies.
First you microwave and cool butter. I stick it in the fridge because it cools quicker that way and it seems to make the cookies better.
Combine your flour and baking soda into a bowl, run a fork through it to combine.
